What You’re Really Buying: Not Just a Hose
Choosing a hose is not just about material. It’s about how it’s made, what it’s tested against, and how long it lasts under pressure, heat, and time.
Take this example:
A customer recently sent us a hose from another supplier for testing. Visually, it seemed okay.
But:
- Peel strength: Only 186 N/m — far below the SAE J20 requirement of 1400 N/m
- Reinforcement layer: Used single-strand polyester, not multi-filament — making it far weaker
In contrast, our hose tested at 1567 N/m, with consistent results across batches.
